Younger Brother
Younger Brother is Benji Vaughn (Prometheus) and Simon Posford (Hallucinogen, Shpongle). They’ve put together a few very interesting tracks that comprise The Last Days of Gravity. I can’t find enough good things to say about the quality of this album. It’d be pointless for this post to contain only one song. I’m not sure how long it’ll take for me to get sick of it, but at the rate I’m currently beating it to death, a really long time probably. There is just so much going on from one second to another. Different planes of sound, morphing, phasing sonically, taking shape and becoming textures that you can almost taste. Smooth as melted butter. Sharp as a razor, with the clarity of Venus on a cold night. By all means, turn up the volume, start Milkdrop (v2) and loose yourself for about an hour. If you like this CD, I definitely suggest that you support the interests of the artists. Our friends over at Psyshop can help you with that. Read their review.
